The Committee of Deans of Engineering and Technology of Nigerian Universities has commended the Governor of the State of Osun and Visitor to Osun State University, The Committee gave the commendation during a courtesy visit to the Governor and Visitor in his office at Abere. The CODET, however, appealed to the Governor to fast-track the completion and equipping of the Faculty of Technology Building since such a feat would serve as a testimonial in future that an Engineer ruled the State and that engineering discipline was enhanced in Osun State University during Engr. Aregbesola‘s tenure.
In his remarks, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola thanked the CODET for their interest in the State and the University. He stressed that the provision of quality education in a conducive environment is one of the cardinal principles of his administrations. UNN notes with pride that CODET is the umbrella of national organisation of Deans of Engineering and Technology in Nigeria. The Dean of UNIOSUN's Faculty of Engineering, Prof Jelil. O. Alamu was on the entourage of CODET for the visit.
